Why Have a Contest?

​Welcome to our 1st Immersion Summer Surf Video Edit Contest!  Our goal is to inspire you guys and gals to create epic video edits of all of your best surf and lifestyle clips that you have ever collected over the years to share your craft and inspire others!

YOUR VIDEO CHECKLIST:
​AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR VIDEO (see promo video for examples)

1. YOUR EDIT:  MUST BE THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE SONG, START TO FINISH (See Walt Cerny's video above). (Sam Moore's video above is a promo video only.  Sam Moore's video will not qualify for the contest.  Note, Sam will be submitting a full length edit :)) !!

2. YOU MUST STATE: ​IMMERSION SUMMER SURF VIDEO EDIT CONTEST

3. YOU MUST STATE: SURFER'S NAME

4. YOU MUST STATE: "SONG NAME" and  IMMERSION SUMMER (the band) at BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO.

5. YOU MUST ASK: EVERYONE WATCHING TO PLEASE FOLLOW @IMMERSIONSUMMER Instagram and Facebook

3X WAYS TO WIN

1.WIN THE SONG: You must create an edit to the entire song, start to finish
The winner of the song will be announced Live as the winner, drum roll and all, at the Album Release Party, when the band plays your song LIVE TO YOUR EDIT with all your friends and fans watching!
Winner will be announced at the Album Release Party!

2. WIN YOUR DIVISIONS: There are 5 Divisions:
Winner will be announced at the Album Release Party!
​a. Shortboard: co-ed
b. Grom: co-ed
c. Girls: Any board, any style...girls only.
d. Longboard: co-ed
e. Stylemaster: co-ed (Ride anything and everything): in this category, you might body surf, ride a fish, a longboard, a shortboard, a finless board, a body board, and anything else you can think of.

3.MOST VIEWED VIDEO
The most viewed video will also be a winner! So, get your people to our website to watch your video over and over and over for you!!
Winner will be announced at the Album Release Party!

How MOST VIEWS ARE CALCULATED:
Views will be calculated from the YouTube video we will upload directly OUR Immersion Summer YouTube channel.

    I agree that by entering into Immersion's Summer's local, free, surf video edit contest, that my surf video edit will be appropriate for all ages of people.  
    Rating: G - General Audiences. All Ages Admitted. A G-rated motion picture contains nothing in theme, language, nudity, sex, violence or other matters that, in the view of the Rating Board, would offend parents whose younger children view the motion picture

    Immersion Summer - Intellectual and Promotional Property

    After completing your sign-up form, you will be given a link to Immersion Summer Band's songs and original video content.  You agree that you can use this content to make your surf video edit for this contest only, and no other uses whatsoever without the expressed written consent from The Immersion Summer Band.

    Model Release

    I, _________________________________________________________ (model name), for good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hereby irrevocably authorize Immersion Summer  to use photographs and video of me and or my property and authorize him (her/their) and his (her/their) assignees, licensees, legal representatives and transferees to use and publish (with or without my name, company name, or with a fictitious name) photographs, pictures, portraits or images herein described in any and all forms and media and in all manners including composite images or distorted representations, and the purposes of publicity, illustration, commercial art, advertising, publishing (including publishing in electronic form on CDs or internet websites), for any product or services, or other lawful uses as may be determined by Immersion Summer. 
    I further waive any and all rights to review or approve any uses of the images, any written copy or finished product. I am of full legal age and have read and fully understand the terms of this release. ​
